We are now hiring a Validation Engineer - Software/IoT/App with the main duty to review and validate product design in development with regards to software and connectivity, apps interacting with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and WiFi for EVSE and battery charging hardware. Position is based in either Norrköping or Stockholm.

What You Do

As a Validation Engineer at CTEK, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our products meet both design and regulatory requirements through rigorous testing and validation. You will be integral to the success of our projects by validating product designs, executing tests, and maintaining robust processes for future development. You will;

• Ensure product designs meet specifications, including regulatory and legal requirements.

• Manage validation activities within CTEK projects, from initiation through to completion.

• Collaborate with R&D through providing feedback on test results, addressing issues, and clarify specifications when needed.

• Refine and develop the validation process, including the creation and maintenance of test cases.

• Contribute to the efficient and collaborative work environment across teams to support product development.

Who You Are

We are looking for a proactive and structured individual with a deep understanding of validation and testing processes, especially in software, and IoT devices. You thrive in cross-functional team environments and are comfortable communicating complex technical issues clearly. You enjoy problem-solving and continuously improving processes for better product outcomes. We want you to have a proven ability to work in a self-driven, structured manner. You also have great collaboration, communication, and documentation skills to ensure transparency across teams.

Your Skills and Experience

• Multi-year experience in software validation and testing, particularly for IoT devices (WiFi, BLE), mobile apps, and devices for iOS and Android.

• Strong understanding of software-hardware communication and troubleshooting.

• A university degree in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, etc.), or equivalent practical experience aligned with the responsibilities of the role.
