We are now hiring a Battery Specialist based in our headquarters in Falun, Dalarna.

What you do
As a Battery Specialist, you lead the optimization of our charging algorithms and battery strategies across various chemistries and applications. Your role ensures that our products deliver best-in-class charging performance for both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, meeting technical requirements, customer needs, and regulatory standards. You provide critical battery expertise to our development teams, drive battery-related research initiatives, and contribute to the continuous evolution of our core technology.

Who you are 

You are a highly analytical and innovative engineer with a strong understanding of battery technologies and charging principles. You thrive in a collaborative environment, guiding development teams and ensuring that our products remain at the forefront of the industry. Passion for research and innovation drives you to explore new battery technologies and optimize existing strategies. A pragmatic and positive approach allows you to communicate effectively and implement best practices with cross-functional teams.

Your skills

• Proven experience working with battery technologies, especially lead-acid and lithium-ion and strong analytical skills with a keen interest in battery research and innovation.

• Strong understanding of charging principles, battery aging, and performance optimization.

• Ability to develop and refine charging algorithms to improve efficiency, safety, and battery longevity.

• Experience in planning and verifying battery tests during development and validation phases.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

• Ability to track industry trends and translate insights into product improvements.

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid Swedish work permit
